Founded in 1999 by Jesse Keller and Scott Kilburn, K2 Electric is a full service industrial electrical contractor operating throughout Western Canada.  Through the commitment and dedication to our customers and employees K2 has grown to become a multidivisional entity that encompasses:

With Sawmill construction being the backbone of our business K2 also successfully executes projects in the Mining, OSB, Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas and Utility Infrastructure.

K2 has a proven long standing team of professionals that have successfully executed projects in the sawmill industry for nearly two decades.  Throughout the years we have been able to recognize strengths in our employees and position them where they excel. Our current Electrical project management team has been in place for 13 years now with the majority of them working together since K2’s inception. K2 believes in providing a top notch work environment for our management and employees, the effort is rewarded by our high employee retention.

The K2 team has completed various design build projects, retro fits, upgrades and complete new ground up facilities.

K2 believes strongly in training and keeping up with technology. We have put many of our members through safety and first aid courses, field safety rep “FSR’ and code courses, project management, accounting, estimating, purchasing, programming, arc flash, powers systems safety practices and workplace protection practices training.

K2 is very proud of our reputation and track record in the industry.  K2 has successfully executed all our projects on time and on budget regardless of the contract and or schedule.  We have an experienced and proven team that understands the dynamics and challenges of Electrical construction, the costs associated with down time and production and the ability to think and plan ahead, prepare equipment for removal and installation in the most cost effective and timely fashion while maintaining the upmost focus on safety and quality.
